Frank Pacheco, 83, of Hilo died Feb. 5, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Dec. 30, 1929, in Hilo, he was a retired heavy equipment operator for the former Hilo Coast Processing Co.

Friends may call at 6 p.m. Feb. 21 at Dodo Mortuary chapel, Hilo, for a 7 p.m. wake service. Friends also may call at 9 a.m. Feb. 22 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo, for a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial follows at Alae Cemetery. Family requests casual attire be worn.

He is survived by wife, Sarah Pacheco of Hilo; daughters, Priscilla Kaua of Denver, Kelly Pacheco of Hilo, Lokelani Green of Kona; sister, Agnes Pacheco of Hilo; brother, Eugene (Helen) Pacheco of Hilo; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
